The World Food Programme (WFP) is spearheading the construction of rice milling sheds in nine key locations in Sierra Leone: Kambia Town, Rokop, Makoni Line, Zimmi, Kabala, Lambayama, Bendugu Senehun, and Tamabur I. This project aims to enhance local rice processing capabilities, improve food security, and support agricultural communities by providing essential infrastructure for rice milling. The initiative reflects WFP’s commitment to fostering sustainable agricultural practices and promoting economic growth in rural Sierra Leone.
