The Construction of Boreholes with Hand Pumps Project was implemented across Falaba, Karene, Bombali, Port Loko, Tonkolili, Bo, and Kambia Districts to improve access to safe drinking water in rural communities. Executed for CARE and funded by the German Government, the project involved the construction of boreholes and installation of hand pumps to provide sustainable water sources for local residents.
The initiative supports improved health, sanitation, and community resilience while contributing to long-term water security in underserved areas of Sierra Leone.
